I am thrilled to be here in the Tuscarora community and to have the opportunity to work with the many talented students here in this beautiful new facility. I am originally from Levittown New York and now reside just north of Frederick in Smithsburg Maryland. I graduated high school from the Waldorf School of Garden City, N.Y. and attended Hofstra and George Mason Universities before completing my undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. While I lived in the Washington DC area, I made my living as an actor/singer for about eight years. I was fortunate enough to perform with the Washington Opera, the Berlin Opera and almost all of the Dinner Theatre's then in existence in the D.C. area. I have continued to perform sporadically throughout my teaching career and have also served as director, musical director, artistic director, stage manager, and lighting designer at the Washington County Playhouse in Hagerstown. I have also completed a Masters Degree in Counseling from Western Maryland College .
My proudest accomplishment is my twenty-two tears of marriage to my wonderful wife Tracey and our ability to survive with humor, while raising our four children; Matthew 21, Katie 16, Genevieve 14, and Jordan 5. Don't be afraid to sing!
