Mr. Randy Rumpf is the Director of Bands at THS and has taught in Frederick County for eight years. Mr. Rumpf received his Bachelor of Music Education from Shepherd University, Master of Music Education from Ithaca College, and is currently completing his PhD at the University of Maryland. In addition to his public school teaching, Mr. Rumpf teaches undergraduate Music Education courses at Shepherd University and University of Maryland. He is an avid Adjudicator for concert and solo and ensemble festivals, as well as a presenter on Music Education topics at conferences throughout the United States.
