My former position, as the head of the Summer Jobs Program for the State of Maryland in Frederick County, led to my connection with Frederick County Public Schools. My initial position with FCPS was with the Guidance Department at Frederick High School overseeing their College and Career Center. After 5 years at FHS, I was fortunate to begin working at THS the very firist year that the school opened.
