Teaching Exp: Been teaching since 1985; taught 5 years at Waynesboro Middle School in Pennsylvania and 14 years at Governor Thomas Johnson High School; came to THS In 2004.

Bachelor's degree in Biology and Secondary Education from the University of Pittsburgh
Master's degree in Geoscience from Mississippi State University
 

Since I started teaching in 1985, I have taught Physical Science, Earth Science, Life Science, ICP, Biology, Physics, Nutrition Science and Chemistry! My first love, however, is Meteorology. In finishing my Master's degree, I had the opportunity to go on a 10 day storm chase in the Midwest which got me excited about the prospect of teaching weather related phenomenon. I am eager to share my enthusiasm for all sciences with my students. My goal for Tuscarora is to be able to offer students an Earth Science course next school year.
