Teaching Exp: Began teaching in 1996 as a middle school English and drama teacher in northern Utah; also taught college writing as an adjunct faculty member at Weber State University (Utah) and Salt Lake Community College before coming to THS in 2004.

BS: Secondary Education (English/Social Studies)--Weber State University

I continue to be amazed by the potential of the students in my classes. I never tire of their energy, enthusiasm, nor their humor. (I'm an appreciative audience.) I admire both their optimism about the future and confidence in their ability to succeed, in spite of living in a very challenging world. It is a joy and a privilege to be a part of their lives.
